| Be Still. God is in motion |
We are in Day 5. I am sure you are "still" with me on this challenge.
Stay encouraged.
As usual, we are reading the word of God, praising and worshipping God through hymns and songs, make a joyful noise, laugh, smile, reverence the name of God, trusting that you are in the right place when you in His presence. Make time for God. GodsTIME.
Check the previous post for the bible verses we are reading at noon and each time you have set out for this.
Today, we are reading Psalm 46: 10 "Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!"
Learning to be still and trust that God is in control of ALL that concerns you is not easy but we are asked to do so in this verse. We must be obedient to the word of God. It bear good fruits. Staying calm when you face trails and accusations and struggles is what this verse wants us to do.
To be "Still" means
- not moving or making a sound
- deep silence and calm
- not moving or in motion
This takes trust, to not make a sound when accused, or when facing challenges, we tend to fight back or try to prove ourselves as the one in the right. God is telling us today to stay calm and let me fight the battle for you, and you will know that I am God. What a reassuring promise that He will never fail us.
Thank you Jesus for your words are comforting and bring us peace in times of unrest.
Enjoy my music selection for today is "Water" by Anthony Brown and Group Therapy.
God presence is water, we can not do without it, water is a basic necessity of life we need God to fill, refill us again as we stay calm and still for his healing touch!
He is the God of overflow, let his presence like water fill you up and quench your thirst (challenges).
Be Still.
God loves you.
